Days of our Lives - Thursday, February 03, 2005

Transcripts by: Melrose Days Place

>>> Man: In case you haven't heard what happened to our Lieutenant, his wife left him for some jerk. He wrecked his car, and now he's on life support.

>>> Man #2: We're gonna make sure you stay far away from Philip's wife.

>>> Man: We're not gonna tell him about this, but if you move in on his woman, when we get back, we are gonna kick your ass. Let's give him a little demonstration so he'll remember.

>> [ Jet engine idling ]

>>> Jake: Sounds like our limo's ready.

>>> Philip: Yeah.

>>> Jake: Now you'll never know if your wife showed up to say goodbye.

>>> Philip: Maybe there's a way. Sir, P.F.C. Philip Kiriakis. I think my wife is here, Sir. I didn't get to see her before the blackout.

>>> Jake: It's a sad story, Sir. They didn't get to say a real goodbye.

>>> Man: Make it quick. And I need it back before we board.

>>> Philip: Thank you, Sir. Thank you, Sir.

>> [ Cellular phone rings ]

>> [ Ring ]

>>> Belle: Hello?

>>> Philip: Belle! Belle, are you here at the base?

>>> Belle: Yes, I'm here. I can't find you. What is that noise?

>>> Philip: We're about to board.

>>> Belle: Philip, I need to tell you --

>>> Philip: No, no, no, no. Belle, you don't have to tell me anything. Sweetheart, I know how much you love me.

>>> Belle: Oh, Philip, this is so hard.

>>> Philip: Sweetheart, this is why I didn't want you coming down here. I don't want you getting all upset again, okay?

>>> Belle: I can't help it. There's something I have to tell you before you go.

>> [ Telephone rings ]

>> [ Ring ]

>>> Lexie: Hello?

>>> Brandon: Just checking in, Sarge. Following your orders, I'm at the hotel.

>>> Lexie: I know you think it was unnecessary, but Sami came here looking for you, so I was right.

>>> Brandon: What did she want?

>>> Lexie: Why do you care what she wanted?

>>> Brandon: Lexie, what did she say?

>>> Lexie: Well, do I have to explain it? The woman wants you, Brandon. I mean, she's pretty desperate, too.

>>> Brandon: That's not going to happen. Anyway, I just wanted you to, uh, know where I'm at in case -- in case something happens with Abe and you need to reach me. I'm at, uh...

>>> Lexie: No! No, no, no, no. Don't tell me where you're at. I don't want to know.

>>> Brandon: Lexie, what do you think sami's going to do, torture you to get the truth?

>>> Lexie: I wouldn't put it past her. That's how badly she wants to find you. If I don't know what hotel you're in, I won't be able to tell anyone, not even accidentally. Not even Sami.

>>> Eugenia: What a team. I mean, I'm a computer hacker, and the way you picked that closet door lock, you could have made a killing as a jewel thief.

>>> Kate: Well, only in the movies, 'cause in real life, it was my husband Curtis. He used to lock me in closets after he was through beating me, and sometimes he would leave me there all night. I got really good at picking locks. All you need in life is motivation.

>>> Eugenia: And that's why we're going to beat Sami. Then again, she's motivated, too.

>>> Kate: Not as motivated as we are, because she doesn't really love Lucas. She doesn't even know what love is. All she wants is a big, fat wedding, 'cause she thinks that she can live happily ever after, but mark my words, if Sami's happy, no one else will be, especially my family, because we have always suffered the most from Sami's fallout, but not this time.

>>> Eugenia: Ha ha. I'm sorry. If Lucas could see you dressed this way, he'd know you're only doing this because you are absolutely desperate for him to be happy.

>>> Kate: Believe me, believe me, he has seen me dressed this way. He has seen me dressed as a will -- real waitress, he has seen me dressed as a secretary, he has seen me... well, you can just imagine how he's seen me dressed, because I fought very hard to give him the best in life, because I could never give it to my other children. Did I ever tell you the whole reason that Austin left Salem was because of Sami?

>>> Eugenia: Hmm, I didn't know that.

>>> Kate: Did you know she actually drugged him to get him to sleep with her? And that was the beginning of the end of his happiness, but this time -- this time, I have taken a page out of her playbook.

>>> Eugenia: By drugging her.

>>> Kate: Mm-hmm.

>>> Eugenia: I guess that's true revenge.

>>> Kate: No, no. It's not revenge -- not revenge, not in my case. I mean, admittedly, Lucas has really bad taste in women, but he does not deserve to live a life of living hell married to that witch, and then will -- he deserves a mother who's going to be there for him, not running around lookg after men.

>> [ Elevator bell dings ]

>>> Kate: Shh. Shh, quick.

>>> Sami: Oh! Watch where you're going, lady! Jeez! Oh, hey, um... sorry I yelled. Uh, actually, I-I left my key inside. I was wondering if you could let me in.

>>> Kate: [ High-pitched voice ] No freakin' way, lady.

>>> Lexie: Brandon, I mean it. I don't want to know where you're staying. You know, Sami could come back here and drug me or something.

>>> Brandon: Samantha's done some wild things in her past, but I really don't think she'd do that.

>>> Lexie: Then you don't know how evil she can be, but I do, so listen to your stepmother, all right? Stay in your room. Keep your cell phone handy. Do not use the hotel phone. And for God's sake, don't open your door, no matter what.

>>> Brandon: No problem. Nobody knows I'm here.

>>> Lexie: Good. Let's keep it that way. Sleep well, and we'll get together tomorrow as soon as Sami is safely married to poor Lucas.

>>> Sami: I forgot my key.

>>> Kate: Well, go down to the front desk and get another one.

> Sami: Well, I, um... I'm already here, and, um, I'm really tired, and I know you can let me in.

>> Kate: I don't know. Sounds fishy to me.

>>> Sami: It's not. Believe me, it's not. My husband's already in there. He's -- he's sleeping, and, um, it's just that I know he sleeps like the dead, and if I knocked on the door, he would never hear me.

>>> Kate: Yeah, sure. Ha.

>>> Sami: It's true. Look, I just went to the drugstore.

>>> Kate: Oh, let me guess -- and you forgot your keys?

>>> Sami: Yeah. I'm sure it happens all the time.

>>> Kate: Okay, then. What's your husband's name?

>>> Sami: Brandon Walker.

>>> Kate: Hmm. Well, let's see some I.D., Mrs. Brandon Walker.

>>> Sami: I don't have my I.D. We just got married, and, uh, I haven't had a chance to fix it yet. We're -- we're newlyweds.

>>> Kate: Ha ha. I see. So you're spending your honeymoon here at the Jetway Inn? That's a first.

>>> Sami: We're flying to Tahiti tomorrow.

>>> Kate: Ha ha. Not buying it.

>>> Sami: Okay. Okay, look, lady, um, sorry. Uh, I just think there's got to be some way that I can convince you to let me into my room.

>>> Kate: Well, actually, there is one way -- one way and one way only. Cold, hard cash in my hand.

>>> Sami: Great. Perfect. Um, there, I'm sure I could spare a little something.

>>> Kate: I'll take all of it -- every dime.

>>> Sami: Are you blackmailing me?

>>> Kate: I say cough up the dough or I call the house detective. You do the math.

>>> Celeste: [ Gasps ] Oh, my God.

>>> Lexie: Okay, Mom, Mom, please stop doing that, okay? You're really freaking me out. Stop it.

>>> Celeste: Oh, with reason, darling. Brandon and Samantha are on a collision course.

>>> Lexie: Well, isn't there some way to stop them?

>>> Celeste: There is no way to stop what fate has put in motion, no.

>>> Kate: 20 bucks? 20 bucks? That's it? That's it?

>>> Sami: Okay. Okay, God. Here.

>>> Kate: 25, 26, 27, 28 -- $28. No change? Everybody's got change, and I heard jinglin'.

>>> Sami: Oh, um, all right, God. Here.

>>> Kate: Okay.

>>> Sami: All right. Now you have cleaned me out, okay?

>>> Kate: But I'm a maid. That's my job.

>>> Sami: Ha ha ha. Open the door, okay?

>>> Kate: I did it. I did it. After all these years, this is a setup that Sami will never be able to get out of. Okay, when the time is right, you know what to do.

>>> Eugenia: Oh, payback for Sami Brady -- couldn't happen to a more deserving person. I'm loving this.

>>> Sami: Brandon. It really is you. You're here. Look, Brandon, it's me -- Sami. And, um... I really have to talk to you. It's important.

>>> Man: Thanks for cluing us in. That jerk won't come on to anybody for a long time.

>>> Jan: How can I ever thank you? I guess there's only one thing I can do. I can't leave you out, now, can I?

>>> Jan: You guys take care now.

>>> Jan: I better get out of here before Shawn sees me. Those guys got me all primed for going home and taking care of him. He's going to need me now more than ever.

>>> Philip: Belle, you didn't have to come down here just to tell me how much you love me. I already know, sweetie. I know you're going to miss me, but not as much as I'm going to miss you. Belle, knowing you are here waiting for me is the only thing that's going to get me home in one piece, do you hear me? I love you, Belle.

>>> Belle: I love you, too, Philip.

>>> Shawn-D: It's not true, Philip. She's in love with me.

>> [ On the next "Days of our Lives"... ]

>>> Shawn-D: I don't care if everyone in here tries to slap me. Philip has to know the truth so that we can be together.

>>> Mimi: No, we can't have our own family, because I don't deserve to be the mother of your children.

>>> John: I will do anything for my children.

>>> Kate: So will I.

>>> Eugenia: Brandon Walker, you sure are fine. Of course, Sami had to have you one last time, even if it is the night before her wedding.
