>> Brady: So let me guess -- this "chip," as you call it, it's uh, some kind of listening device, a bug?

>>> John: Wrong. A bug... and a camera. Once installed, I will have a ringside seat to everything that's going on inside that house.

>>> Brady: Dad. With all do respect, you do realize that this is illegal.

>>> John: Let me ask you something, son -- just whose side are you on anyway?

>>> Crystal: What are you doing here?

>>> Earl: Damn it, I should have known this was a setup

>>> Nicole: What the hell is going on here? Who's this man?

>>> Crystal: Earl, the guard from county jail. The one I told you about.

>>> Earl: My job. I was hired to upgrade the security system, and that's what I'm gonna do.

>>> Earl: By installing this chip, don't ask me what it does.

>>> John: The bug ought to be in place by now. All I've got to do is press this button and wait for the red light-emitting diode to come on, and it's show time... That's strange...

>>> Crystal: Of course it is. The cell was unlocked, Marlena snuck in and took your gun and keys while you and I were doing the nasty.

>>> Earl: That's bull, and you know it.

>>> Crystal: What is wrong with you, Earl? The only reason why we lied in the first place is so your wife wouldn't find out about us. And now with John Black so hell bent on knowing the truth, I'm thinking it's just better for both of us if we just come clean. I mean, to hell with Maura you could do so much better than that nagging shrew anyway.

>>>Earl: No way. No way we tell Balck anything. Maura'd have my butt in a sling. I mean, worst of all, I could loose her. She may be bossy, but I love her. I never should have cheated on her.

>>> Crystal: Hmm. I see. So, it sounds like you do intend on keeping your mouth shut.

>>> Earl: All right, you win. Your secret's safe with me.

>>> Crystal: [ Thinking ] Don't worry, Nicky, Your old pal, Crystal, will take care of everything.

>>> Nicole: Yeah. But it means so much to me to know that you still believe in my innocence.

>>> Brady: I do. But... If your friend Crystal is somehow involved in Marlena's death, guaranteed, my dad will find out about it.

>>> Brady: Hey, Earl, where are you going?

>>> Nicole: What am I gonna do? The walls are closing in. If I lose Brady, I lose everything.
