>>> Julie: No, we can't. Abby's leaving for camp right away and besides, I'm worried about Jennifer and I wanna check in on her.

>>> Julie: It's more than that, Uncle Mickey. Somehow Jennifer has convinced herself that Jack is still alive.

>>> Julie: Today she thought he was trying to reach her on her cell phone.

>>> Jennifer: Listen, he sent me a message on my computer. He said that he is going to be here before the baby is born. Patrick, Jack is comming home to me.

>>> Shawn-D: [Struggling with chains and groaning] ...got to get out of here and get to Belle. [Sighs, remembering] Jan, don't do something you'll later regret, okay, don't screw up your life as well as everyone else's.

>>> Jan: This is your own fault.

>>> Shawn-D: No, no one is at fault here...

>>> Jan: You are at fault Shawn, because if you didn't love her so much then she wouldn't even have to die. [Sighs and turns on radio] You know what? Just don't disagree with me Shawn, okay? [Picking up a gun] It's really, really not nice to disagree with the woman you love. Okay, I turned on the radio for you. Aren't I sweet? This way you'll be able to hear the news bulletin that your girlfriend is dead.

>>> Phillip: Okay, um... you know, I left some info about some of the charities down in my car so I'm gonna go get them, are you gonna be okay?

>>> Kate: So, why don't you tell me, Will, what do you think your mom's planning on doing while you're away at summer camp?

>>> Will: Well, I can't say for sure, but I'll bet anything that she and Dad'll be together by the time I get home. And the three of us'll be a family... Which probably won't make you too happy will it, Grandma?

>>> Kate: No. Uh well, I just um, I just want them to be careful because I don't want them to make a mistake.

>>> Will: But how can loving each other be a mistake?

>>> Kate: [Sighs]

>>> Sami: Lucas, I don't know what you're talking about.

>>> Lucas: I think you do, Sami. I think you're working on another one of your schemes right now. That's why you're doing research on Martha Stewart right?

>>> Sami: I'm just... trying to get inspiration.

>>> Lucas: Inspiration, from Martha?

>>> Sami: You know, I'm studying up on successful business women, seeing how they got ahead. That's what I'd like to do. You know I really would like to have a real carreer, even if I didn't go to college I... Look, I know it sounds stupid but I really am trying to turn my life around. I wanna learn from my mistakes. And burrying the hatchet with your mother is a good start. But, I also wanna be successful, I wanna make something of myself. Is that so wrong?

>>> Lucas: Only if you end up like Martha. She's probably gonna do time, Sami. She's probably gonna be scentenced on a Federal offense.

>>> Sami: [Sighs] Well of course, I'm not gonna do something like that. Nothing like that's gonna happen to me.

>>> Sami: [Daydreamsof Kate being locked up in jail.]

>>> Sami: I just have goals, it doesn't mean I'm going to do something illegal. I've been reading up on smart, successful, female executives you know, and they obviously must have done something right to get where they did before their downfall. Take your mom for example, look at what she's accomplished and she started out being Stefano's... She started out like me, a struggling, single mom. And now she's running this huge conglomerate.

>>> Lucas: That's rightm she's worked very hard to get where she is. Unlike your idol, Martha, she'd never do anything shady to get ahead.

>>> Sami: You're right. 'Cause she's too smart for that. [Thinking] But I'm even smarter and believe me, that bitch is going down.

>>> Shawn-D: [Groaning]

>> [Phone rings... answering machine picks up]

>>> Jan: Hi Shawn, it's Jan. I'm here at Basic Black and Belle is too, looks like she's having dinner with somebody. [Laughs] Little does she know, it'll be her last meal. Anyway, just thought I'd reassure you, all is going according to plan and I should be home soon. Until then my love, mmwah. [Kisses through phone.]

>>> Shawn: No! I gotta get outta here and go to Belle. [Breaks out of handcuffs] I'm comming Belle, just hang on.

>>> Jan: [Thinking] This is it Belle. Once I blow you away, Shawn is all mine. [Points gun at Belle and pulls trigger.]

>>> Shawn-D: [Breaks out of cage.] Yes. Yes. Don't let it be too late...

>>> Jan: [Sighs] [Thinking] Damn you Belle, stay still. [Hear's Phillip approaching and hides.]

>>> Phillip: All right... [laughs] What is this?

>>> Belle: [Laughing] It's to keep us motivated. Because we have such a big job to do, especially with school and my design job and you, you know, serving our country.

>>> Phillip: What's with the spoons?

>>> Belle: Come on Phillip. Silver Spoons... that's what they used to call us. They thought we were just spoiled rich kids.

>>> Phillip: Yeah, I remember. [Laughing]

>>> Belle: I really do think that together we can accomplish some pretty amazing things.

>>> Jan: [Thinking] Oh God, help me. This chick so needs to die.

>>> Julie: And I baked some brownies, Grandma's recipie. Of course they're not the same, but they're for Abby...

>>> Jennifer: You know what, Abby will love them. She will love them, and she will love the scrapbook too. But, what she really needs is for her father to come home safe and sound.

>>> Julie: Well, I just had a wonderful idea. Why don't you go upstairs, take a nice, warm bath. I think that'll make you feel so much better.

>>> Mickey: Oh I, I couldn't agree more. There's nothing like a warm bath to help you relax.

>>> Jennifer: You know, I am going to take a bath beause I am such a wreck and I need to pull myself together for Jack coming home. I don't want him to get home and be worried. Excuse me.

>> [Mickey, Julie and Patrick look at each other.]

>>> Sami: [Shrugging] Stranger things have happened. Take us for example, I mean, I used to hate your guts and then, there we were makin' love. Remember?

>>> Lucas: How can I forget?

>> [Flashback to Lucas and Sami in bed.]

>>> Sami: Yeah, well, see... unexpected things happen all the time. Especially... who would have expected it after you and Kate set me up and sent me to Death Row for a murder I didn't commit?

>>> Lucas: It's kinda like you testifying that I hit our son and you knew it wasn't true, right?

>>> Lucas: At least Will's happy. He can't believe his parents are finally getting along.

>>> Sami: I know, and that's why I wanna make peace with Kate. I mean, it wasn't good for him, seeing his mom and his grandma at each other's throats all the time.

>>> Lucas: No, it wasn't. It was terrible. But are you really on the level here? I mean, can I trust that you've totally changed?

>>> Kate: Don't Lucas. Don't trust a word coming out of her mouth. Because Sami is a pathalogical liar.

>>> Sami: Lucas... no, don't worry about it, I know why Kate's feeling the way she is. I've done a lot to cause her pain and other people too. How could she forget that, how could anyone? I mean who was I kidding that I could turn my life around just by saying I'm sorry? Obviously it is too late.

>>> Lucas: No, Sami. It is not too late. All right look, you didn't just say you were sorry, you said you wanted to set new goals for your future. You just... you can't do that all in one day.

>>> Kate: Try ever.

>>> Sami: Well, Kate's right. How could I ever expect to accomplish anything with my bakground? I should just quit my job at Basic Blak and, I don't know, find some dead end job somewhere.

>>> Kate: Okay, that's fine, I, I, I accept your resignation...

>>> Lucas: Mom, will you please stop it.

>>> Julie: So, how was that bath? You look refreshed.

>>> Jennifer: It was good, I feel good, I'm just gonna make some tea.

>>> Kate: No, actually, I'm not having to... push at all. In fact, I hired them both to work for Basic Black's Charity Foundation, they're going to be partnters, supervising corporate donations.

>>> Sami: [Thinking] Corporate donations? Sounds like a way to get Kate into trouble.

>>> Lucas: Your not pushing them together, Mom, or anything like that?

>>> Kate: [Sighs] Well, actually, I happen to think they work very well together. And, if there happens to be a spark, so much the better.

>>> Lucas: You do realize that Belle is in love with Shawn, right?

>>> Kate: Shawn has done nothing but break her heart and the longer she's with Phillip, the quicker she's going to realize that. And then Shawn, huh, well, he'll be nothing but a distant mamory.
